Listen Here- Author ReadVerso There is a painting on the wall, just inside the door of a memory. We walk right past it several times a day. Do we see it as it is or how it responds to us?
Thanks Elena! Thanks for living into the questions. Maybe that painting is already painted? An ancient wisdom, and a connection to the universe that already knew us before we forgot it. It was always there…painting. 🙏❤️✨
Oh Jamie, the way the universe weaves your writing into my life is pure magic. I just attended a storytelling event in which I realised how much of our life is made out of stories and I was surprised to see how limited our vocabulary is to write these stories. Or does the story write us? I love your words and reflections. Have a beautiful day and enjoy the summer
Sadhbh, thank you! We are made of stories not skin. Thanks for being a witness here to mine. Ireland sounds like one big storybook! Does the story write us? Yes indeed! In parts. We write poems. Maybe poetry writes us. Thanks for being here. Living into the questions. In cuoreosity. Your new posted coffee chats are wonderful! 🙏❤️✨
Hi Jamie. How nice you are having a quiet summer…and reading. It is so nice to read. I read many books recently just for fun like I used to years ago before I went on a quest to be educated and to improve myself…which seems silly in some ways and important in others. I am struck especially by three words at the end of your post: “believing is seeing”. Those three words seem incredibly powerful to me. Perhaps it is time to find that part of me that really believes in magical things. The power of reawakening is strong. To see what I believe. Geeze. Some of my beliefs need a tune up I imagine and some need to be dusted off and taken out of the closet!
Thanks Terra! Yes to believing is seeing. It’s a beautiful way of seeing. Of being. Totally resonate with some old ancient wisdom ready to be dusted off always ready to show us a different kind of vision. Thanks for diving into this post. 🙏❤️✨
It is a gift to me this morning. I shall do some writing on what you have touched in me as now I am wondering about things more. I always go back to basic questions. Why am I here? What is this place/experience? If God is love what does pain serve (and I got an answer to that but I am not so sure I like it). What about the article I just read about the US prison system, how it is like slavery (which I knew). I don’t believe in it. But the reality of the post lands in me, so I believe it. If I didn’t believe in a world with such things, would they disappear? You see…three little words from you and this is what happens 😉🙈💕
Maybe they don’t disappear but something else appears? If more and more love ripples then we will live into a different resonance. Meet you there 🙏❤️🪄🌟
Poet and person, the artist in the picture, the man in the words in his summer, a window open. Good to read! Ann grows plants in our window, some very old friends. I do a spinal recovery two minutes, back of the breakfast chair looking with the plants in the window. They seem to like that. And the outside looks in, a bit overgrown in its enthusiasm, but that is 'entheos' for you! My notebook was lying on the table this morning to pick up the thread from you!
Ah Jo, you make me smile. Thanks for always jumping in with kind words and an energy of resonance. I hope the winter is treating you well. The days are slowly getting longer. Thanks for stripping off those layers here with me. Bless you some quiet stillness and some magic. 🙏❤️✨🪄
"We are made of stories not skin." This stands out for me, it made me smile — we, the sum of all versions of self, and still we unfold — fallen, broken, realised, ignored, witnessed, hidden, unknown — imagined; created. Love how you capture the essence of our human condition.
Lovely to listen to you reading again, in your quiet calmness of Summer nurturing your being — asking and living the questions.
"Did we ever really know where to look?" Probably not when we look through a lens that is skin deep?
Thanks Simone for going deeper into those spaces and spirals. For going deeper into dimensions. Now that is seeing! Thanks for the support. For reading -for listening- for seeing. Hope winter isn’t getting too deep below skin. Bless you 🙏❤️💫
Thank you, we have enjoyed some sunny, crisp days with light winds ... so not too deep below the skin 🤣, not enough to want me to hibernate for the Winter. It's quite astounding, how we layer our stories, those in and deep under our skin — the records of our lives. 🙏🌀💖
Which of the many selves got out of bed this morning?
Which one is going to bed tonight?
Changing selves with every person we meet?
... in response to situations and requests?
I guess the challenge is to find the self, eventually, who is coherent enough to fit around all variables and every constellation... to be ourselves in every room of our own life, which is called integrity.
Yes, that self that has no reflection in the mirror. Just pure integrity. I love your deeper dives. Thanks so much for living into these questions with me. Big hugs 🙏❤️💫
These words stuck out for me: Who are we / when no mirror can reflect us?
I remember being on a office culture committee and we were reviewing questions for a survey to gauge the temperature in the office, and one of the questions was: do you feel comfortable bringing your authentic self to work? I pushed back on the question, and I explained Sam's "true authentic self" lives mostly at home or when alone, and I don't believe you'd want to spend office hours with him. They chuckled, but it's true. And I wonder if there's ever a moment in our lives when we can be our true selves, even when alone. Demands and responsibilities don't evaporate when we're alone.
Who am I when the mirror can't reflect my image? A great question, and something I'm looking forward to answering one day.
Thanks for diving in Sam! Something tells me that question might only be answered with another question. Maybe we become that answer. Hope July 31 treated you well 🙏❤️
Who are we when there no mirror? That is a deep question. Maybe will paint the answer on that painting inside ourselves. Thank you, Jamie!🙏🏻🫶🏻
Thanks Elena! Thanks for living into the questions. Maybe that painting is already painted? An ancient wisdom, and a connection to the universe that already knew us before we forgot it. It was always there…painting. 🙏❤️✨
Maybe and maybe we cam add something new from time to time or just change some nuances.🙏🏻
Mulţumesc! I will definitely dance to that Elena. 💫
Sounds like a blissful summer, Jim, thanks for being here x your words and presence - which are, as always, full of the imaginal.
Thanks Will! I always appreciate your insights and your wisdom. Nice to share this journey with you. 🙏❤️

Enjoy this quiet time, Jamie. Beautiful. An Ode to Seeing Ourselves.
Thanks Robin 🙏❤️✨

Thanks Phillip. Thanks for leaning into the words as always. Thanks for sharing your thread. Hope that back is treating you well. Bless you. 🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing the summer. All good stuff. I too like the line 'We see what we believe'. And bless you all.
Good Morning Poet of the Universe. ❤️ So lovely to see you here again. Your summer sounds beautiful: a quiet calmness, being the witness.
"What we are searching for
is often in plain sight,
but we have to go on a quest to find it.
Roots and meaning."
Yes we are the stories we tell ourselves.
Stripping off the layers of those stories. Uncovering what was there all along. Our life "quest" is letting go of what we have accumulated.
Seeing rather than looking.
Thank you Jamie.
Enjoy the stillness. 🙏

Wise, beautifully painted words, my friend.🙏❤️
Thanks Janaka. That’s kind coming from the master painter himself. Loving everything you share. Thanks for being here. 🙏❤️
And you 🙏❤️
Unseen, walked by, missed...
stories sunk in skin, skull, sky?
Worth looking into!
What looks into eyes
Deep enough for mystery
Kind enough to care
Thanks for being here Marisol 🙏❤️💫

or do our stories layer us 🤔😉 We always arrive in that middle. Stay warm down under 🙏❤️
🤣🙏 ... either, or, and, but .... how? 💖😉

even more than our clothes..."
