Thank you so much for reminding me of the beauty of dawn. I love to greet the day with a nice coffee and watching the sunrise myself. It is certainly easier to do so in winter, as the sun rises later. ;-) I totally share your passion for the mystery of dawn, the magic of coffee and the poetry of an early sunrise!
Beautifully written ode to coffe, life, dawn, light, dark. I love the way you describe the start to your day, especially the idea of turning coffee to ink.
I so relate to this Jamie and have a very similar morning ritual:
"My blood dances to the magic light of the moment in a meditation of creation. Words come to find me. Birdsong serenades me with chorus and with pen in hand I mystically turn coffee into ink." Love it.
Many think I am mad to rise so early. But why would I stay in bed and miss that sacred time?! This is the best I have read of you yet. Thank you. Jo
Oh my word Jamie, I felt myself breathe deeply through every mindful word. To make the small things sacred, is a life well lived <3 beautiful words, friend

"We are all on the journey from darkness to light.
A circular yet a mysteriously never ending spiral journey home.
Dawn is a time of homecoming and promise.
The seeds of possibility pull me from the bed.
The sacred convergence of darkness with the loyalty of
the light summons me to worship at this magical altar.
Dawn.
Like a child on Christmas morning I quickly rise up.
Presence kissing wonder.
The rapture of awe calling my name."
This is a poem!

Thank you so much! Dawn has secrets to tell. To watch the darkness release her colours is a gift of grace. Bless you. 🙏❤️

I love Coffee, and I love Dawn. And I really love how you can turn your coffee into ink. Beautiful ode to coffee.
Thanks Mo for all of your support. Coffee definitely taps into a portal of presence for me. Add a little dawn and a poem is born. 🙏❤️

Thanks Bonnie for reading and reaching out. The sacred things often come for free and are right in front of us.
"The work of the eyes is done. Go now and do the heart work on the images imprisoned within you."
Rilke
Ahhh...the sensual life where everything is silky and savored
Thanks Terra!
