Really interesting, and a joy to read, Jamie. I picked up that as one can never step in the same river twice, so also we can never step into the same life twice; we can't repeat 'the good experience', like trying to nail it down. It's forever new; we are changed, the river-of-life is changed. We have to remain open, and humble; ready to give, and receive.
Thank you so much Josh for meeting me in the space between the words. The word is the world. To walk into the wood and word is always a door to possibility. Never the same river. Never the same man. Bless you a day full of love and transformation. Thank you for your continued support. The world of a poet can be lonely. 🙏❤️
I had to look up the meaning of Hermeneutic Phenomenology Jamie. Once I understood the term I realise I spend many moments contemplating this every day. I also enjoyed trying to say the words "Hermeneutic Phenomenology "out loud. A big mouthful which ends with a smile that's for sure. 😊
Thank you so much, Jo! I had to practice the Canadian pronunciation many times, which is probably not correct lol. Just reading your writing I can fully appreciate how you lean into the light every single day. Thanks for showing up here. 🙏❤️
You prompt us to go further. I had to enquire starting with your ref. Emma Green and reached St Augustine of Hippo. Smile. Having opened the page at the Hermeneutic Circle I'm thinking of the utterance of trees, absence and return and the small singers. Thanks.
This is a wonderful piece, Jamie. Experience coming into existence through the poet's perception and words. A reminder of symbiopoiesis. I love it and look forward to coming back to read/ listen to this again. Thank you so much 💕🙏
The symbiopoiesis indeed. Thank you for always bringing the hermeneutics to everything you write! Your words always bring in the world. Thank you for reading and for meeting me in the word in the wood. Bless you Veronika. 🙏❤️ Phenomenology all ways.
Deborah. Thank you so so much. Sometimes being a poet can be lonely. To know that the words connect with another is a huge hug. I really appreciate you reaching out. Bless you. 🙏❤️
Jamie, I can only imagine. I feel this way writing, but it's the beauty I seek in the outdoors or the music that helps me along. My friends often. I appreciate you and hugging you again! Have a beautiful Easter weekend. oxox
Ah, that last stanza of your poem really resonated with me. How beautiful. I also like the part about how immersion in a place reveals the mystery and place shapes us. So lovely. Thank you for sharing this ❤️
Thank you so much Jenn. To be of place is definitely a revealing of the light. It definitely shapes us. Far too often we try to shape the place. Thanks so much for reading and your kind words. 🙏❤️
Thank you so much for reading and for reaching out! To be of a place certainly takes on a whole new meaning. 🙏❤️ where we are, and who we are seem to be connected indeed. Once we find that door inside, it’s hard to go back.
The opening of the poem was powerful and well-written. It sets the mood for the whole poem.
Thanks Rick! 🙏❤️
Your poem deserves compliments, brother :)

Stunning poetry:
"There is something in me older than the sun
In the song of the trees I feel it pulse." 🙏

"...singing into the endless instant
somewhere between a story and a prayer"
Gorgeous. By the way, I LOVE Wallace Stevens and John Moriarty. I will be pulling down off the trees of my inner forest (aka bookshelves). Thank you!
Thanks so much Muriel! I get lost in those books too! A forest indeed! Never leaving the same. Bless you 🙏❤️
Congrats on the poem Jamie!

PS Where in Wallace Stevens? I have his poems.
Thanks Phillip! That Hermeneutic Circle is actually a spiral 🌀 , even a labyrinth. It keeps on whirling!
Yes Wallace and the phenomenological links to Heidegger and Husserl and Gadamer. Transcendence. The Snow Man.

Allowing the light of a place to shape us…that is beautiful ❤️
Where I am and who I am are intertwined. Indeed. And how we talk gives away so much about our inner world. 💕

Beautiful article Jamie!
