A beautiful life in a day back to you! Thank you so much for reading. Those book ends are part of the same book! Some books just never end. A never ending song. I laughed when after I taped the audio and it came out to five minutes and 35 seconds without me even being conscious of it. Do you believe in magic ? Thank you for your support. Bless you Sadhbh 🙏❤️

We want to hold on to what we perceive are the good parts of the day. The Beatles song was a mind-bender, taking an ordinary day and making it into an experience of discovery and then letting go.

We humans have a hard time letting go. I found in your poem a beautiful expression of that thought.

Thanks so much Perry! I had fun starting as McCartney. A life in the day. Letting go is a journey indeed. Bless you. 🙏❤️

These purple shamrocks are some of my favourites in our garden. Their flowers the colour of dawn, the leaves bleeding into late dusk.

This is a gorgeous poem, Jamie. A song serenading the dawn and dusk, arrival and departure, pale pink flowers hidden and purple leaves visible, each the shape of a heArt. I love it 💕🙏

Thank you so much Veronika! Thanks for noticing those pink hearts as everything blends into one. You won’t believe it, but the plant just flowered fully in the last two hours! Magic! Thank you for being a gardener of soul.

Beautiful! I let it further settle as it announces a key to my sleeplessness, to finally rest, to let go the day, knowing both, day and night, remain the same. No differences as we are now. Thanks a lot for sharing! 🍀🙏

I find the special times are the 'changeover':-- the dawning of a new day, and the 'dusking' of a new night. Not being an early-riser I miss the dawnings but enjoy the sunsets, coinciding with my most daily walks.

Our 9-year old grandson is a Beatles fan and always puts on the St Peppers & Abbey Road CDs when visiting - the Day in the Life track is indeed amazing, still after 50+ years.

I like your opening two lines very much -- it reminds me of the intelligence of plants (leaning to the light) and the symbiotic nature of Nature. It gives so much hope in what one sees otherwise as a degenerating world. But through the eyes of Nature, life is as vibrant and generous as ever. I try and stay close to it; it keeps me sane. All blessings, Josh.

Oh wow Jamie. My favourite so far. Tears welled, goosebumps.

Something about "the leaves leaned hard" that really encapsulates the poem for me.

Also love that you set the scene with a Paulo Coelho quote. He is one of my favs.

Just brilliant Jamie. Must have been good coffee this morning! 😉❤️

We had the end of day light savings this past weekend so my 4.45 am rising has become 3.45 am which feels a little crazy! Slowly training the body back minute by minute but wish we didn't have DLS. It f....s with our circadian rhythms.

Just been listening to A Day in The Life, thanks to your reminder. So good eh. xx

I hear you on DLS! No need. It always takes a couple weeks to adjust. We can’t keep f…ing with the rhythms. Enjoy all autumn brings. I’m hoping university is working out for your son! A big change. Thanks for your support. Off to watch this total eclipse. Blinded by the light. 🙏❤️

This is a beautiful meditation to start today with. I love your poem, how it starts and ends with the window; your Lennon in the middle. And I love your clovers. Thank you for sharing your beautiful words.

Where is she now? Goodness, we forget. Hard to remember the globe spins so fast. But remember Mnemosyne! Smile. The muses have their day.

O little Oxalis of the three leaves with roots in many kingdoms ... I am told our pot leaning into the window is very old and takes a year off every so often. This year she is preparing flowers.

PS Like Eliot I do not know much about gods - 'the river is a strong brown god' - but it seems reasonable to remember earth and sky and their issue.

Oh Philip! You always leave a poem here! Thank you so much. May we all Flower this year too! Letting that river take us and all of our leaves- body spirit, and soul- into the kingdoms of the spinning globe and beyond. Bless you 🙏❤️

I wonder if night or dark were the first out of which light was brought and it was good… and words were used to bring those first orders to life. Just thinking of Genesis … ‘darkness over the surface of the deep, And God said “let there be light…” ❤️

Thank you so much for reading! I totally resonate with the darkness releasing her colours. Day was always a part of the night and night definitely a part of the day. 🙏❤️

Definitely my fav parts of the day. Dusk and Dawn. The release of colours. Maybe the veils are the thinest then? Nature definitely has a consciousness that I catch a glimpse of and feel into in brief moments. I lean hard into it. My sanity depends on her too. Thank you so much Josh! Enjoy those gardens of poetry. Bless you 🙏❤️
